Nankoweap ruins, wood door lintel on room 2 is still intact 9/16/2015, recognizable as the same as photographed in 1981, (also on this website) preserved by weather protection in the alcove in which the ruins are built, the dry climate, and being on the back side of the stone lintel. Something brown has been packed into the intersection between the wood and stone above and the stone gaps above and and to the side have been filled, probably with mud mortar at the time room 3 was restored.
