Just fledged juvenile peregrine falcons perched on a boulder on the talus slope at the base of their eyrie cliff. Newly fledged peregrines are somewhat sedentary for a few days until they gain strength and confidence in their wings. They do gather together with their nest mates. New Mexico, © David A. Ponton
