The tuff rock is characteristic of the Pajarito Plateau and other areas around the Jemez Mountains. The mesa on the left is Otowi Mesa, the grassy area at the center is the site of Otowi Ruin (completely collapsed) the mesa on the right is known as The Mesa at Otowi Ruin.
